New Term Begins at Nursery!

Posted 15/9/2016

The new term started last Monday at Christchurch Kindergarten and children have been settling into nursery having either come back from their holidays, or starting new.

Children develop at their own individual pace and at varying rates so at Christchurch Kindergarten we offer a settling in procedure that is flexible to meet those needs.

Friendships and relationships are an important part of the child's development. In order to make the children feel comfortable, it's vital a caring, professional relationship is built, respecting the needs of the child and their families at all time.

Children need to feel safe, stimulated and happy to develop and grow socially, emotionally and physically. They need to feel secure and comfortable with the practitioners at the nursery.

During the settling in period, we know parents get anxious about letting their child go. Through parental partnerships, we help build confidence in both their children's well being, and their role as active partners within the pre-school.

If any parents have any questions at any time, please do not hesitate to contact the Nursery Manager.
